The Man Behind “3 Glasses” Project
Brazilian photographer, Marcos Alberti, started a fun experiment to see the effects of 3 glasses of wine. The photo project started with his close friends. Alberti captured their expressions after they returned from work and progressed until after they’d had 3 glasses of wine.
About “3 Glasses” Project
What started off as a joke soon grabbed the attention of social media users. “3 Glasses” became viral and had over a million views and 1,800 comments in the very first week. This encouraged Alberti to look beyond the circle of friends and to start capturing others on camera doing the same thing.
The objective of the “3 Glasses” project is to show the before-after effects of drinking 3 glasses of wine. Alberti started off by taking photos of people coming into his studio straight after a long work day and getting through rush-hour traffic. Then he took photos of the same people after each glass of wine had been downed. The images have become widely popular as anyone can relate to these after a long, tiring day at work and a few glasses of wine.
