Parenting isn’t easy. It’s like having the strength of Rambo, quick-wit like MacGyver, and always being prepared like the Boy Scouts, all at the same time.

Doing all that work can be really stressful and every parent deserves a little alone time.

The trick is to keep the little tykes busy and entertained for as long as possible. That way you can do your own thing while keeping an eye on the little ones. And if you can do it without spending a lot of money, then you’re gold!

3) Food coloring or liquid watercolors;
4) Vinegar;
5) Baking soda;
6) Paper towels or napkins.

Process:

Mix the cornstarch, vinegar, and food coloring. Fill your bags at least 1/3 of the way with the mixture. Take a square piece of paper towel and put some baking soda in the middle. Form the ’bomb’. Place the ’bomb’ into the bag and seal it. Shake the bag really hard. The bag will slowly expand and a few minutes later — boom! Your sidewalks will be covered with paint and the kids will be happy.
