Dove is a beauty brand from the renowned company, Unilever. It has body wash, lotions, creams, soap bars, and other products under its brand. Known for some very good advertising campaigns like Campaign for Real Beauty, Dove has been a champion for beauty that lies underneath the skin. But one false step by Dove has angered people all over the world and they are venting all over social media.
A recent campaign by Dove shows a black woman changing her top, seemingly becoming a white woman after using Dove body wash. The white woman then takes off her top and becomes a Middle-Eastern woman. With feelings of racism running high all over the globe, the timing by Dove couldn’t have been worse.
