#8 Having a permanent sty
A sty on the eyelid is caused by a blocked sebaceous gland. The lump causes pain and irritation but usually goes away after a few days. Take note that if it pops up after or appears in the same place, then it might be a symptom of sebaceous gland carcinoma.
#7 Eyebrow loss
Aging, stress or nutrient deficiencies are the primary reasons for eyebrow loss. In very rare cases, Alopecia areata (spot baldness) can also cause eyebrow loss. However, it only affects 0.1% of the population.
A more serious issue would be hypothyroidism. It’s an acute shortage of thyroid hormones that lead to hair loss in extreme cases. Visit your doctor and do a checkup on your thyroid gland.

Nowadays many of us suffer from this as we are constantly spending time on our computers and mobile screens. The modern name for this is ‘digital eye strain’ or ‘dry eye syndrome’. Cut back on your screen time and consult your doctor.
#5 Blind spots
A sudden appearance of a blind spot can be terrifying! For extreme migraine patients seeing blind spots during headaches, they may be accompanied by sparkling dots and wavy lines. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms seem familiar.
#4 Bulging eyes
There are times when our eyes go out of focus and no amount of rubbing and blinking fixes them. The effect is temporary, but if you feel some sort of bulging in your eyes then it’s a symptom of thyroid (or Graves) eye disease. It is a sign that your thyroid is overactive. You will have difficulty closing your eye. It happens to only 30% of cases, so if you feel similar symptoms, you should consult your doctor immediately.
#3 Yellow whites
It isn’t hard to miss when your eye whites turn yellow. This usually points towards an unbalanced liver function or jaundice. It may be connected with the state of gallbladder or bile ducts. You should rush to a doctor if you see your eye whites becoming yellow.
#2 Cloudy vision with diabetes
Diabetes patients should take extra care of their health. The ‘cloudy vision’ diabetic patients face is caused by diabetic retinopathy. It damages the blood vessels in the photosensitive retina tissue. This issue must be taken seriously and a visit to a specialist is in order.
#1 Impaired vision
Any sort of change in your normal vision should receive attention—don’t ignore it! If you suddenly notice that your vision is impaired, clouded or even disappearing for moments, dial 911 or seek medical help immediately—these occur preclude a stroke.
