#1 Natural cleanser with lemon, honey, and sugar
Cut a lemon into half and cover one half completely with honey. Then sprinkle some cane sugar on one half of the lemon and gently rub the affected areas. Use this once a week for a clear and natural skin.
#2 Plastic wrap and Vaseline trick
When we take a warm shower, all our skin pores open. So, take advantage of this time and apply Vaseline on the affected places right after your shower. Now place a plastic wrap over Vaseline and apply a hot towel. Let it cool to room temperature. Then wipe the Vaseline with a tissue and squeeze the parts where the blackheads are. The open pores and the softened skin will make it easy for you to push out the blackheads. Don’t forget to end this regimen with a lotion wipe. Doing this once or twice a month will give you a clearer and glowing skin.
#3 Coconut oil mixed with essential oils
Take 1/4 cup of coconut oil and microwave for 10 to 15 seconds to soften it. Now take ten drops each of lemon, lavender, and tree tea oils and mix with the coconut oil. With the help of a cotton ball, apply this mixture on your washed face every morning and evening.
Don’t forget to keep the mixture in an airtight jar in room temperature.
#4 Oat flour mixed with cinnamon
Take equal amounts of oat flour and cinnamon powder. Now add some lukewarm water and mix well. Stir it until it resembles a thick cream. Apply this cream in gentle circular motions on the affected areas. After massaging for a minute or so, use cold water to wash off. Please note that cinnamon might cause some tingling on the skin but will soon go away. Use this twice a month for a clearer skin.
#5 Green clay with activated charcoal
To have clear pores, use a mixture made from 1/2 teaspoon activated charcoal powder, 1 teaspoon green clay, and 1/2 teaspoon of warm water. Make sure to stir well so that all lumps are removed. With the help of a face sponge or a brush, apply this mask on your face and wait till it dries completely. Rinse off with cold water to discover naturally clean skin. For best results, use once or twice a week.
#6 Coconut oil mixed with coffee grounds
Start with warming 1/2 cup of coconut oil in the microwave. Now mix equal amount of fresh coffee grounds. Use this mixture to gently massage your face using circular movements. Leave this on for 5 minutes before washing off with cold water. You can do this once a week for a naturally clear skin.
Store the remaining mixture in ice cubes and stash away in the freezer.
#7 Aloe Vera mixed with white clay and essential oils
Aloe vera is a tried and tested miracle for the skin. Take 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel and mix with 2 teaspoons of white clay. Now add a teaspoon of distilled water and 3 drops each of ylang ylang and lavender essential oils. Mix together in a ceramic bowl until smooth. With a brush or a sponge, apply on the face and leave it for 10 minutes. Finally, rinse off with warm water to reveal fresh skin. Use twice a month for best results.
#8 Oatmeal, yogurt, honey and olive oil
Blend together 1/4 cup of oatmeal, 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 teaspoons of natural yogurt, and 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a food processor. In a circular movement, apply the mixture on your face for a couple of minutes. Now rinse with warm water. For those with sensitive skin, it is advised to use this as a face mask and to leave it for 5 to 7 minutes. You can use this once or twice a week for a blackhead-free skin.
#9 Sugar, honey, olive oil and vanilla extract
Mix together 1/4 cup each of white and brown sugar, 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until it forms a smooth paste. Scrub all the affected areas with this mixture and wash off with warm water. Using this once a week will clear your skin of all blackheads and whiteheads. Store the mixture in a sealed jar in room temperature.
