Christmas is a time to celebrate and make memories. The snow, the warm living room, beautiful Christmas decorations and the excitement of the kids take the festive meter to the max.
Anyone half-decent with a camera would want to store these beautiful memories with some snaps. But for photographers – it’s simply a heavenly environment.
Phillip Haumesser is an award-winning natural light photographer. His passion is capturing the magic and curiosity of my children in their everyday lives. And he is ready to capture Christmas festivities with his camera.
This will be his third Christmas since he started photography. At his wife’s insistence, they wanted to capture their family memories by taking lots of photos of everyday lives.
“She wanted me to start capturing these moments just over two years ago and now I can’t seem to put the camera down and take anything seriously anymore,” said Phillip.
“At any rate. The tree is up and the house is decorated, but the photos are just beginning. Christmas is such a fun and nostalgic moment for us, and we want to share our moments with you.”
Scroll down below to see his beautiful shots captured with his Sony a7II with a 35mm 1.4 lens. Although the images have been processed in Lightroom and Photoshop, they look lively and natural as ever!
