Andrew Ling was always different growing up. Unlike other kids, he didn’t fear heights, dark places or spiders.
His greatest fear was the shortness of life.
“What I feared was that I might run out of time and how everything seemed to go by far too quickly,” he said.
Now, at 23 years old, he’s made it his life goal to change our perspective on how we view the world.

“Growing up, I had never seen anything like these beautiful places before,” he said. “So when I did, it was life-changing… literally.”
Andrew travels the world taking pictures of nature using silhouettes of people for scale. The pictures feature the wonders of nature with him and travelers he meets along the way.
“To think that people actually spend their daily lives in a place that we often travel thousands of miles to see is mind-blowing,” he said.
He uses photography to freeze the feeling he feels when exploring. It also serves as his motivating agent.

Truer words have never been spoken. And from a such a young person.
