Schizophrenic Artist Expresses Her Condition Through Illustrations

Kate Fenner is an 18-year old artist who was diagnosed with schizophrenia when she turned 17 years old. This mental condition makes the victim hallucinate, cook up stories that did not happen, see themselves as someone else, lack of motivation, and hearing voices that others don’t. There are varying degrees of schizophrenia and so, some cases are acute while others are within tolerance.

Kate is a talented artist and although she avoids social contact, she gives images to her mental condition through her powerful illustrations. Scroll down to see Kate’s works.
