If you are waking up between 1 am and 3 am, you might be having anger issues. This energy meridian is connected to the liver and during this time it releases excess yang energy. Try drinking cold water and meditating—it will help you sleep.
# Waking Up Between 3 am – 5 am. Higher Power.
Waking up at this time could mean that a Higher Power is trying to get your attention. It might guide you to a higher purpose. This timeframe is also related to the lungs and emotion of sadness. Try breathing slow and praying.
# Waking Up Between 5 am -7 am. Emotional Blockage.
The biggest energy flow in this timeframe is in the large intestine. If you wake up suddenly, it could mean you are having emotional problems. Stretching your muscles or using the bathroom may help you release some of the blockages and help you sleep.
