Undernourished and only 7 months old, Bear the dog was found as a stray on the streets of Flint, Michigan. Ever since then, he has been spending his life in a shelter. He’s a beautiful, loving dog, and still the staff at the Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) just can’t figure out why no one has been willing to take Bear home. It has been a long two and a half years.
Bear was taken to a foster home but was soon brought back because the family had other members move in.
Bear looks like any other normal dog. He is as sweet and loving as any other dog. But there’s just one problem – he can’t get along with other pets.
DAWG tried taking Bear to different adoption events. But alas, other pooches were luckier than him. This sad turn of events has left Bear permanently sad and depressed. He spends most of his time with his head down on his bed.
